Born in Jamaica and raised in inner-city Birmingham as part of the Windrush generation, Wilfred overcame significant challenges to realise his lifelong ambition of owning a farm in Devon. Drawing on his entrepreneurial spirit and experience in television production, he transformed a bold idea into one of Britain's most distinctive food brands, now stocked by leading retailers across the UK and expanding internationally.
Alongside growing The Black Farmer, Wilfred is a passionate advocate for entrepreneurship, diversity and social mobility.
