I founded Richard Brendon to celebrate and preserve craftmanship found in heritage industries around the world. Inspired by the intricate skill and detailed precision that has been honed over centuries in locations such as Stoke-on-Trent, I have created exquisite collections that challenge the traditional and expected aesthetic.
From our London studio, we create timeless tableware that brings together contemporary design and the very best techniques. It all began in 2013 with the launch of bone china collections Reflect, Details from Willow and Superstripe, with a bespoke colour range of Superstripe now appearing at the Corinthia Hotel in London. These were joined by crystal glass collections Diamond and Fluted in 2015/16, Fluted having been created initially for Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland.
I am proud to say that our bone china and crystal glasses are now enjoyed by food and drink lovers around the world, and we are available in Harrods (London), Fortnum & Mason (London), The Conran Shop (London), Jelmoli (Zurich), Lane Crawford (Hong Kong) and Gearys Beverly Hills (USA) amongst others. Our latest collection showcases beautiful hand-blown glass in partnership with wine expert Jancis Robinson, with a wine glass specially designed for all enjoyment of all wines’ aromas, flavours and textures - truly one glass for every wine.
