James Pegg (JDPceramics) originally studied Fashion and Textiles at both The Glasgow School of Art and Central Saint Martins before embarking on a career in fashion design lecturing at London College of Fashion.  JDPceramics was set up in 2016 in response to James's transition to using ceramics instead of fabric.  His Action Casting technique explores the potential of capturing movement and colour though a dynamic application of stained porcelain to slip casting moulds.  His practice covers gallery led collections and a studio line presented here at Top-drawer.
