Kusubashi Monori x MiW Morita: Towel Tenugui

A towel with just the right balance of thickness, lightness, and practicality.
A collaboration between poet-painter MiW Morita and towel manufacturer Kusubashi Mon-Ori, this Towel Tenugui brings MiW’s whimsical world of stories and illustrations to life.

Blending the functionality of a traditional tenugui with the soft texture of a towel, it’s made using fine threads woven into a short pile. The front side has a smooth, gentle feel, while the back side features softly twisted, loosely spun yarns that give it a light, sponge-like texture. Available in six unique designs, this Towel Tenugui is delightfully versatile thanks to its perfect thinness and lightness. Whether you're wiping, washing, wringing, wearing it around your neck, hanging it, or carrying it with you — this fresh and fun item can do it all. A single piece with endless ways to use!
