Small porcelain bowl,

Handmade small porcelain bowl decorated with carved drawings which are inlaid cobalt blue oxide and with a transparent glaze.

This bowl has a hand drawn pattern of dots and lines inside and a ring of lines round it’s outside. It has an irregular shape and could be used for earrings or rings by the side of your bed, or for sugar and salt (the glaze is food safe). It is glazed on the inside using a transparent glaze which gives it a slightly shiny look and because the pattern is carved into the surface it gives it a lovely tactile feel.

Hand-built from my garden studio in Forest Hill, using as few resources as possible

Size Approx: Ø (diameter) 9 cm x H 4 cm

• Irregular shaped, not perfectly round or symmetrical

• Porcelain, fired to 1260°

• Carvings inlaid with blue cobalt oxide and with a glossy clear glaze inside

• Each piece is unique, small surface imperfections are part of this technique

• Food safe and able to hold water

• Hand washing advised

• Makers mark at bottom
