Made from 100% cotton mosquito net - a heritage textile from Nara - each bag is finished with tightly woven Sanada-himo cord handles, a traditional Japanese detail that complements the natural tones of the fabric.
Ban Inoue is based in Nara, a region known for its deep craft traditions and once the heart of Japan’s mosquito net industry. Drawing on traditional cotton gauze weaving techniques, the brand creates contemporary homeware rooted in the refined simplicity of Azuchi-Momoyama period art, culture, and nature.
