Anatomy’s Quiet Melancholy
Sketchy Bones is an exploration of beauty found within anxiety. At the heart of our work is melancholy defiance - not denying sadness, but acknowledging it and refusing to be consumed by it.
Strength in the face of adversity.
Our pieces are steeped in death, not as obsession but as a symbol of time - its certainty, its impermanence and its unknowns.
Between what’s certain and what is not, there exists a fleeting moment of surreal beauty. We call it perseverance.
Anatomically inspired on the surface, our work reveals something deeper up close; quiet defiance. Resilience, even when life feels fragile.
Creating beauty as death breathes near. Persevering through anxiety. This is defiance in its purest form and what we strive to capture at Sketchy Bones Collective.
With a curiosity for unconventional beauty, we explore the realm of jewellery, fashion and sculpture. Our background in Architecture drives a dynamic and inventive attitude towards jewellery design, helping us discover and create innovative and sustainable methods of design and production. We blend technology with traditional jewellery crafting techniques - utilising CAD and 3D printing to produce our casting moulds, allowing us to create the highly detailed, high quality, handmade and unique jewellery associated with Sketchy Bones Collective.
