Every Senyü piece is a collaboration. Jordi designs the collections and weaves herself, alongside a community of weavers she knows personally. Working this way is the most practical way to keep the craft alive: it gives the weavers a dignified income and creates a reason for younger generations to take it up.
Every Senyü piece is made to be timeless. Handwoven on the backstrap loom, each one has a texture and character that never dates, so it can be kept, used and loved for years. The range includes cushion covers, handbags, coasters, placemats, a table runner and ornamental birds, designed in the UK and made with a deep respect for cultural heritage, sustainability and community.
