Moo & May Studio is a one-woman creative studio based in the coastal town of Tayport, Scotland. Founded in 2021 by Jess, it was built from a deep love of colour, typography and meaningful design. What began as a few playful prints for my own home and for friends, has grown into a joyful, personality-packed collection for the home and everyday life, including wall art, greeting cards and, as of 2024, wedding signage and custom commissions.

Every piece is designed with joy in mind: to brighten homes, lift moods and spark conversation. The work draws on nostalgic forms, bold colour and feel-good messaging, with a focus on self-expression and human connection. At its core, Moo & May is about creating with feeling, and helping others connect to theirs.

Each item is designed (and produced wherever possibe) in-house, made to order and produced in small batches. Quality matters. Sustainability matters. Wherever possible, environmentally responsible materials and processes are used.

But behind the studio is something bigger than a brand. It’s a lifeline. Every single order placed helps pay the mortgage, sends my toddler to nursery and keeps this dream alive, while contributing to the local economy and the survival of independent retail.
