Suffolk chocolatiers win award ex Dragons Den star Theo Paphitis’ small business award with their chocolate making kits
Suffolk based mother & daughter business Petite & Sweet receives a business boost from ex Dragon’s Den star Theo Paphitis.
Petite & Sweet make luxury handmade chocolate bars, lollies, hot chocolates, gifts and chocolate making kits in their purpose built kitchen in Baylham.
Back in June 2017 Toni Caraccio-Hewitt tweeted Theo about her business, the children’s chocolate making kits in particular which had been launched earlier in the year.
Theo Paphitis runs a weekly initiative called ‘Small Business Sunday’ which he set up in 2010 to support small businesses in the UK, as he wanted to highlight just how important small businesses are to the UK economy.
Successful business and retail entrepreneur Theo, announced Petite & Sweet as one of his weekly winners and re-tweeted Toni’s message to his over 500,00 followers, giving Petite & Sweet a much needed boost on social media.
On Friday 23rd February both Toni and her business partner and daughter, Laura were invited to attend the SBS winners event, which was an opportunity to network with other SBS winners, attend seminars and Theo’s fire-side question round with AO.com founder John Roberts along with the opportunity to ask the professionals questions. They both found this event to be enlightening and inspirational and are delighted as winners to be allowed to attended any more upcoming events.
Toni and Laura were also presented their official SBS certificate by Theo himself at the event.
