New Spring 2020 jewellery collections

With a chilled, relaxed vibe we took to our local, quiet Duporth beach to photograph new Spring 2020 sustainable jewellery pieces. We collaborated with Nomads clothing and the beautiful, muted bright palette of their collections toned in brilliantly with the found pieces in my jewellery.
With my friend Kayla modelling, we got some lovely images of pieces from these new collections:
- Beach clean: big statement beach plastic and driftwood necklaces, riveted plastic brooches and massive erringsmassive
- Marrakech: hammered recycled brass pebbles and shards combined with faceted turquoise, malachite and lapis lazuli
- Miners: big boulder opals from Australia set in oxidised silver, linked rusty washer chains
- Recycled metal: fused recycled silver pendants, fused enamelled rings
There's always an unavoidable mid century influence to my work which hopefully comes through in this shoot: I was thinking about photos of female artists from the St Ives School on the beach in the 50s.
Here's a link to the images which you're welcome to use: come and see the pieces in the flesh on my stand at Top Drawer in January.
