JDPCERAMICS

James Pegg of JDPCERAMICS brings his studio line of Action Cast pieces to Top Drawer for the first time.  Born out of the desire to develop a functional range of porcelain pieces based on his larger gallery based work, the studio line offers various shapes for use all around the home.  As well as the original shapes, Foundouki Planter, Fluted coffee cup, George beer cup, Kivos incense cube and the Glastra planter, 2019 sees the introduction of four new permanent members to the family:

SAKE CUPS PAIR//The new sake shape was originally developed with Kanpai Sake Brewery, based in Peckham Rye, London.  Its popularily seemed to extend beyond Sake and they are used for espressos and even salt and pepper pinchers.

KAFES PAIR//This new pair of coffee cups come in a duo that share the same colourway, but as is the case with Actioncasting, each cup is totally unique.  Perfect for a flat white or cup of tea this new shape was a favourite when launched online during xmas 18.

BOUBOUKI BUDVASE//The slim and attractice Boubouki was designed for single stems or dried flowers.

FOUNDOUKI MEDIUM PLANTER//The original Foundouki (pronounced Foo-doo-ki) has always been a winner for those smaller succulents and cacti - with this new larger version provding the opportunity to up your plant game.

James will be on Stand CR705 in the Craft Section, and will be taking part in a Meet The Maker panel talk with Patricia Van Den Akker (The Design Trust) and Daniel Heath from 15.45 to 16.15 on Sunday 13th.

JDPCERAMICS was most recently featured in The Guardian’s Top 100 Xmas Gift Guide 2018, and has upcoming gallery shows with Thrown Contemporary @ London Art Fair (JAN) and in ‘New Beginnings’ The Porthminster Gallery, St Ives. (FEB)
