Anti Copying In Design is a trade association for designers and manufacturers with a diverse membership ranging from individuals to multinationals across all industry sectors. ACID is committed to fighting design theft and lobbying for design law reform. Members have benefits including access to initial free advice from specialist intellectual property (IP) lawyers and use of the ACID IP Databank to underpin IP Rights through third party evidence.  ACID’s key objective is a safer commercial trading framework, part of which is the ACID Charter Signatory initiative.

DMH Stallard are specialist intellectual property lawyers who, as ACID Legal Affiliates, support Anti Copying In Design at ACID Accredited Exhibitions to give help and advice to visitors and exhibitors on intellectual property issues.  Through the ACID Exhibition Protocol they also assist with mediating potential infringements should they occur during the exhibition.
