Discover exciting new products from the rising stars of design

Visitors to University of the Arts London’s (UAL) feature stand at Top Drawer London will get an exclusive preview of new products by emerging creatives and brands. The University presents a hand-picked selection of commercial products, created by 7 of its students and alumni at the show this January. Many have never exhibited at a trade show before, making UAL’s stand the place to discover the brands to watch.

The stand features a diverse range of products, from homeware, lifestyle and wellbeing, through to fashion accessories, jewellery, prints, greeting cards, and stationery.

The businesses being showcased on the UAL stand – all students and alumni of the prestigious University - were sourced through an open-call, with selections based on the commercial viability and creativity of their products. The 7 chosen design businesses are:

  • C.P. Illustrating
  • Nevernew London
  • Ghost & Bonesetter
  • Chuchu Illustrations
  • Liz Workman
  • Seronga Art
  • Verena Muller Illustration

They are part of UAL’s prestigious network of alumni, which includes: Terence Conran, James Dyson, Margaret Calvert, Neville Brody, Susan Williams-Ellis, Tatty Devine’s Harriet Vine and Rosie Wolfenden, and Stella McCartney - to name just a few.

Organised by UAL’s Careers and Employability team and supported by Clarion events, this is the 18th year of the partnership which provides emerging businesses with a supported way into trade show environments. Exhibitors are offered a professional development programme in the lead up to the show to prepare them for the experience, as well as PR and marketing support.

Leila Hill, Events & Showcasing Coordinator, Careers and Employability at UAL said:

“Our partnership with Top Drawer provides UAL students and graduates with a platform to launch their businesses to the retail world, making our stand the place to discover exciting up-and-coming talent. We support them with business guidance throughout the process, so taking part is a pivotal step in their professional journey that prepares them for commercial trade.”

Don't miss out on seeing these fresh brands, perfect for those buyers looking for new talent!
