When Paveau’s founder, Isabelle De Pauw, made the conscious choice to drink tap water at home, she quickly noticed something was missing. Stylish, practical, and reusable bottles simply weren’t out there. Instead of compromising, she designed her own—and in doing so, she began building a brand that now inspires thousands to see tap water in a new light.

From Personal Need to Global Mission

What started as Isabelle’s search for the perfect bottle evolved into a movement that blends design with sustainability. Drawing inspiration from her grandmother’s vibrant vintage crystal glassware, Isabelle created Paveau to be both functional and beautiful—a colourful celebration of everyday hydration.

The name Paveau itself carries the brand’s essence: a blend of De Pauw (Dutch for “peacock”) and eau (French for water), symbolising vibrancy, elegance, and life. Just like a peacock’s feathers, each piece adds a touch of colour and joy to interiors, while also carrying a deeper message.

Plastic is polluting our planet in ways we can’t ignore. By choosing tap water, we can cut down dramatically on single-use plastic bottles that overflow in landfills and oceans.
